Conversation Club (July 4 to July 25)

Come practice your English speaking and listening skills at the Library's Conversation Club!

It meets every Monday from July 4 to July 25 between 10:45am -11:45am & 12 noon - 1pm in the Library Community Room, MC 008.

Find out about our Canadian customs and discuss current events happening in the city. Learn about the Library and other useful student resources offered at SAIT. Make new friends, interact with other people and share personal experiences. Talk about school, work, sports, movies or anything else that comes to mind!

"During one Conversation Club, somehow the topic came around to the Calgary Stampede. Of the seven club participants not one knew what the Stampede was, so I pulled up on the big screen videos of the rodeo, the rides, and stampede wear. There were lots of jokes and laughter as they realized what a big party the Stampede is and they wanted me to promise that I would take them this July."

Janis Rapchuk
Conversation Club Trainer

It is a great opportunity to ask questions and most importantly – have fun!

Everyone is welcome. No registration is required.
